libgit-wrapper-perl software package provides Perl module to wrap git command-line interface, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgit-wrapper-perl
libgit-wrapper-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgit-wrapper-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgit-wrapper-perl *
You will get with libgit-wrapper-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
